Y 大家一起捞鱼生!Huat ah! :D
A very well-spent weekend I had.
I wish it didn't have to end, as I really really am dreading work. :(
Caught this with Yeappie at AMK last friday. I was looking forward to it 'cause of Raymond Lam's appearance in it! Woohoo! I was surprised to see Justin Lo's appearance as well! :D Love the casts totally! As for the plot, it's a little lame - HAHA lame. The chinese dubbed sucks tho. I want to watch the actual Cantonese version of it. :)
Went to see our seller at Seng Kang after the movie, and we sat there talking to him for almost 3 hours before we left. We planned for a few viewings for the next day too. :)
And on Saturday, I woke up early to help my mom with the preparations of food to welcome all my relatives over for the yearly CNY gathering. It's my brother's birthday as well as the 7th day of CNY, which means it's everybody's birthday! :D I helped to prepare till about 2pm, before leaving house to meet Yeappie for 2 viewings at Seng Kang. After the viewings, I head back home to play host again. Haha.

Yums! My dad spent close to $300 for these food. Nope, this isn't buffet. :)
My house was almost packed when I got home at 4ish. Mahjong at the corridor, adults and kids everywhere. And at about 5pm, we sang my brother a birthday song, and at the same time, we 捞鱼生! :D
I ordered a Tiramisu Cake, paid a Tiramisu Cake price, and yet we got a Sponge cake! The bakery's very dishonest!
:)
We began tossing Yu sheng after that. Huat ah. :)
We ate, we gambled, we hung around and it was already 12mn when the last person left. Cleaned up abit before I finally turned in at 3am. Zzz.
And today, supposed to meet Yeappie, Tiffi & Edwin to cycle at ECP. Yeappie and I were having lunch at Casuarina, when Tiffi called saying that Edwin had fallen ill, so prolly had to postpone our cycling trip. Haha, that's okay with us anyway, because it began pouring shortly. :) Head home to change, before going down to Uncle Gary's place at Admiralty for the usual CNY gathering. :)
I'm feeling a little uncomfortable that some woman is reading my blog.
And I'm contemplating of shifting again.
P.S: Kids these days are so "in". At 4, they know how to use a Mac Book! :o
Y Dong dong dong dong qiang~
Happy Chinese New Year!
Pull your ears.
May everyone be prettier/handsome-r, richer in terms of $ and love, healthier (or remain as healthy) & happier and at peace always! ♥
How did you spend your Lunar New Year?
Mine was quite of the norm. :)
On the Eve - 13th Feb
After having our Reunion dinner at home, my family and I went to absorb some of the atmosphere over at Chinatown. It was quite the same, and the crowd wasn't as overwhelming as the previous years. We walked around the CNY bazaar, bought some goodies and made our way back to the car.
On the way back, this narrow alley outside a Bak Kwa stall (which was closed and lights were off so it's pretty dark) was really really jammed up with people going both directions. So we went through it in a single file manner - my mom in front of me, and both my dad and brother behind me. I was using my mom to cover my front and at the same time protect her, my dad was supposed to be behind protecting us, but he got pushed to the back shortly. Then, some bloody asshole pinched my butt. I stunned, but was too late to react and tried to walk out of the crowd. But who knows, after awhile, a second asshole pinched my butt again! This time I reacted, turned behind and "OEI" loudly, loud enough for all to hear. It was too dark, and I couldn't tell who was that asshole. My father heard, and knew instantly what happened, so he grabbed the bag of the most suspicious guy (a bangala) from the side of people going the opposite direction and started shouting at him in Malay. But this bangala kept denying, and said he didn't do it. Idiots! Forget it, I just hope the real culprit's hands will ROT! Grrr.
Shan't let this kinda guy ruin our CNY. After Chinatown, my family joined the rest of my relatives at Joo Chiat Temple for some midnight praying. Once the clock struck 12, we wished one another, hung around before leaving for home at 1ish. :)
CNY Day 1 - 14th Feb
Just like every year, we woke up early and went for some morning praying nearby, before going to my Ah Gong's place which is just 2 blocks away from mine.

Long time never take a photo with my beloved Gonggong. ♥
The hero who babysits me even before I started walking and saved me from my used-to-be violent brother. HAHA. o.ov
After Gonggong's house, we went next door to my 大伯's house, where we sat around, mingled, caught up - you know the usual stuffs. :) We left for my 姨妈's home at Woodlands at about noon time. That was where we stayed throughout the night, eating and gambling. Hahaha. :)
Playing my Family Game - 牛. Won quite a fair bit on the first day. :)
At night, my whole family wanted to head out for some activities. Partyworld - no one answered the phone for reservation. Watch Movie - tickets sold out. Kbox/Top One - too expensive. TCSS - closed. River Ang Pau/Sentosa - some of them not interested. Almost settled for Thai Disco or Boat Quay, but in the end, we went to none, as some still preferred playing mahjong. :(
CNY Day 2 - 15th Feb
All of us were supposed to reach Uncle Raymond's house at Punggol before 11am that day. It's because we planned to take a family portrait. The same place we took our last photos with my late Popo. :( Come to think of it, the photo my family took with my late popo was the ONLY one we took, and my ex-boyfriend was in it too. :/
Anyhows, we took a NEW family portrait today! With Uncle Raymond's $1000 over DSLR and many other digital cameras, we snapped some really beautiful portraits. Awesomeness! :D 7 faces missing tho - Big Uncle, Stanley & fiancee and Derrick & Family.
Take One
Take Two
Best Final Take
Jolene & Me ♥
We're of the same Generation ;)
Here's the Before & After. Wahahaha. :P
And so we were at Uncle Raymond's eating and gambling till late evening. Jolene, Zhengjie & their dad plus my family went to River Ang Pau at Marina together. Seems like this year's river ang pau was much better than the previous year, 'cause there's the fun fair! Haha!
Zhengjie and I tried out this Top Gun, which goes up and flipped us upside down, rotating 360 degrees. It was very thrilling! Both of us enjoyed it very very much, but I think our dads' heart almost dropped when we were up there. Hahaha. Me loves thriling rides. :x
Walked around, enjoyed the light-ups, had supper at Mac before we called it a day at 1ish. :)
CNY Day 3 - 16th Feb
Slept in to our fill, before waking up for 3rd rounds of visiting. Were at Bishan in the morning, before heading over to Uncle Alex's at Woodlands in the afternoon. Ate and gambled for a short while before leaving to meet Li'e, Yun and Zhiling to visit our Conrad Security Uncle Kok Hwa's place at AMK. It's our 4th year there! Hahaha. Played Blackjack, and I lost about $10. :(
Uncle Kok Hwa slimmed down manymany!
Look at his Conrad Bears collection! :o
I only had 1 Giant one and about 4 small ones, which I threw all away 4 years ago. :x
O yea, we played a short while of Mahjong too! Giving Zhiling some Mahjong lessons, you see. :x
So many other Conrad staffs dropped by too. We felt its more like Hari Raye than CNY, because most of them were Malays. There's Nigerian too! Vietnamese as well. Hahaha. International gathering. :o And so the 4 of us left at 8ish. Passed by AMK Hub, and snapped some photos like the previous years too. ;)

We were all sticky and sweaty when we snapped these. Hahaha, weather's damn hot lah! :P
Ta-dah. There goes our CNY break. I'm so dreading work tomorrow. Boooooooooo. I can't wait for the coming weekend though! My house party and cycling with my bestfriends! Please tell me the weather's gonna be goooooooood. ♥
Finally,
May our money keep rolling in & in & in & in,
may help ascend upon us & pesky people out of the way,
may we all HUAT AH! :D
Y Year of Tiger
Dear loveables, May your coming new year be filled with magic and dreams and good madness! 恭喜发财,新年快乐. 发到不清不楚!:D Labels: Everyday
And.. Happy Valentine's Day, you. :)
Updates soon..
Y Life isn’t a bed of roses.
I’m been getting lazy to do things lately, including blogging. Labels: Everyday
Like I think of them and imagine how I will do them, what I will write, which pictures to put up, etc. But laziness always takes the better of me.
As I was enjoying my frog leg porridge supper at Geylang last night, I realised how quickly time had actually passed. We've been eating this frog leg porridge for supper for almost a year plus, and we're still not sick of it. In fact, we've been so regular that the waiters always greet us during every visit and remembers our usual order. Haha. And I'm getting pretty used to seeing how the red light district really is.
That's not the point actually. What I'm concern is how quickly time is passing, and how I'm always trying to catch up with Time. So much to do, so little time. Why? I've so many big plans in mind, yet so little time.
And I do agree with what Tiffi said to me yesterday, I do miss the crazy times we had last year too. Then again, we can't be crazy and enjoy our whole life, when it's time to work hard, we got to do so. Let's work hard in our industry and travel together again soon! :)
Anyway, the past week has been pretty queer. An ex-boyfriend contacted me on facebook. Someone whom I thought had evaporated into thin air. Someone I had really faint memory of. Someone I almost couldn't remember his face. He contacted me, and told me how much the past was haunting him and how he felt he had let me down. Honestly, I felt nothing. Zilch. Null. I didn't even felt like replying him.
We all moved on, didn't we? :)
Ohwells, it's CNY eve today. 旧的不去,新的不会来. Reunion dinner tonight. Let it be a joyous and sumptous one. Huat ar!!! :)
恭喜发财,新年快乐.
Y Glimpse of HOPE!
Heeheeheehee! I can't stop smiling right now, since last night actually. :D :D
That's because, we got our first exclusive last night! Credits to Yeappie of cause! :D :D
Before signing that exclusive, both Yeappie and I were out at Lido catching the preview of Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief. Because it was a Gala Preview, thus Yeappie did not bring his phone along and left it in his car (I smuggled mine in). :)
Anywhooos. This film is really out to amaze the young ones. It was pretty entertaining, tho' I find certain scenes to be really exaggerating! We are too matured for that. Haha. :x Percy Jackson looks rather charming tho, and that's a plus. Hahaha. :D
So after the movie, Yeappie checked his phone and there were 2 missed calls. He called back, and its our seller at Seng Kang wanting to sell his flat. Since we were already out (tho casually dressed), we made an appointment 2 hours later. We had a quick supper, and drove to Yeappie's place to grab some forms before heading down to Seng Kang for the meeting at 11pm. Yeappie really did a great job, and yes, we got the exclusive to sell! Hehehe. We couldn't stop smiling, and were really overjoyed! Can't wait to share this news with the other 2. We're doing this as a group thingy, and our team consisted of Singling (Perng Ceat's GF), Roy, Yeappie and me. One earns = 4 of us earn. :)
This shows that throwing of flyers worked! All thanks to William and his friends who helped us distribute them over the weekend. Speaking of which, Sing Ling was the one who told me she got some poly friends who are willing to earn the extra money to help us distribute. Then Singling told me it's gonna be William who is helping us. Hahaha. MSL friend helped to print flyers, and another MSL friend helped to distribute them. What a small world. And William actually told me, they managed to cover 30 blocks the last 3 days. Effective!
What an AWESOME news just before CNY. :)
Y Bacon Bits in the Salad Bowl of Life!
It has been a busy busy weekend for me!
It started of with an early viewing on Saturday morning, which made me believe that there ARE really nice and understanding clients out there, afterall. :) Despire failing to close that deal, I know there is still hope some day. Moreover, it's the new year period, thus the rather cool market. I'm hoping things to improve after CNY. :)
After that viewing, I quickly rushed off for my facial, then back home to do some works, then quickly got change before Han De came to pick me up in his bigbig car. Hahaha.
Over the last 2 months, I initiated a class reunion for my poly classmates. It was really tough to gather everybody, and I almost gave up planning everything. Thankfully, we still made it happen, even though not everybody can make it. 6 of us turned up, and it was good enough.
We were at Pitstop Cafe at Boat Quay, eating, catching up and playing games. It was great fun! We played games, and our forfeit was to drink water. Worst thing was, we were not allowed to go to the toilets till the end of everything. Damn funny! :D We caught up many many as well, before leaving the place at about 11pm, and Han De sent me back home in his bigbig car again. Laughs.
Shan't upload all the pictures I snapped, but only this group photo. :)

Doraemon PIG from Hong Kong!! Hande ordered it from Hong Kong, and he gave each of us to choose one, and I chose the PIG one. Damn cute!! Haha. Compare Hong Kong's edition with our Singapore edition Rabbit - what a huge difference in size. Haha. :D
BTW. It's been quite awhile since I last went to Boat Quay. That place changed so much, with many new pubs. Some really sleazy too! Okay, maybe not sleazy, just ... different? They have girls stationing outside the pub trying to pull customers in for "cheap bottles". I was stunned that the place has changed. Boat Quay has given me so much memories, and now I do not fancy going there anymore.
Anyway, I was totally zonked out last night, and KO-ed pretty early, considering it was a Saturday night. Haha. And this morning, I head out to shop for CNY stuffs with my family. The weather was damn hot! :Z Had an open house in the afternoon, before meeting my family out for more shopping at Bishan CNY Bazaar again. Despite the overwhelming crowd, The Bazaar seems pretty boring to me though.
1 more week to CNY. Huat ar! :)

I can't stop replaying these commercials! Best of the year! Muahaaahaaa!
P.S: I am not a Pedobird. :P
Y Hachiko!
Labels: Reviews
Hachiko: A Dog's Story seriously moved me to tears. Fortunately, I'm watching it at home instead of the theatres. Sob sob.
This is a Hollywood remake based on a true story about the faithful Japanese dog, Hachiko. It's the remake of the 1987 Japanese film - Hachiko Monagatari. An unique and unbreakable bond was formed between a college professor and Hachi, when the professor takes in Hachi, who was abandoned at a train station. Everyday at 5pm, Hachi will be waiting for its master to be back from work at the train station. Everyday without fail, even when its master collapsed and died at work one day.
Hachi waited through the rain, shine and snow for close to a decade. It grew old, and died at the same spot where it waited for its master everyday. And today, there is a stone statue of Hachi at Shibuya Station in Tokyo.
In front of Shibuya Station
Dogs are indeed man's best friend, and they are capable of feeling love and loss. And the film managed to effectively convey how human (and this very gifted dog) deal with grief, and how the cycle of life is observed by all.
It is a comforting thought that we are not alone in our sorrows, and what we call 'humanity' can exist behind the eyes of a family pet. It is also very fulfilling to know, or believe, that one can strike up a deep, meaningful relationship with a dog, and have that love reciprocated.
And right now ... I wished I do not have any phobia towards Dogs. :(
ANYWAYS. I believe this original Japanese version of the movie would definitely be more real and nice.
Y Money makes the world go round
I've been too Labels: Everydaybusylazy to blog these days. :x
Last Friday was Yeappie's last day at the shithole, and today we were joined by an experienced sales person from one of our retailers. Haha, it sure felt really different without Yeappie in the office. Ohwells, when is it going to be my turn! :(
And so, we had a farewell dinner with Yeappie at Sin Ming Industrial area. It's just the usuals - Uncle Sai, Yeappie, Evelyn, Carine and myself. Sin Ming Industrial may seems a little ulu, but the zhi cha at this Coffeeshop was awesome! :D
Ah Orh Seafood
The 5 yummylicious dishes! ♥
Anyway, the entire Sales & Marketing team chipped in, and we bought Yeappie a wallet and namecard case as his farewell gifts. Just what he needed, I hope! I recalled hearing him mentioned to me one day that he needed a new wallet anyways. I hope he liked what we got for him, and SELL MORE HOUSES! o.ov

:)

Our GIANT card and wishes. Haha, Uncle Sai was the one who picked that photo to place there. Lol!
It wasn't exactly farewell tho', since we'll still be working together. Then again, it sure felt different without Yeappie in the office with us. :)
This CNY is sure going to be a GOOD one! :) Then again, it's the second CNY without our beloved Popo, and all of us still do missed her dearly. :( I'm glad our family are still pretty close, getting together once in awhile for gatherings. Hopefully this CNY we'll still be visiting one another. Anyway, my brother's birthday happens to fall on the 7th day of CNY, and thus we're holding a get-together for my relatives and at the same time celebrate his birthday. Haha, I will be sponsoring the cake, and I can't wait for this kinda happy occasion. :)
P/S: I recalled how is it like to miss somebody.
Y 甘心替代你
Remember the song playing on my blog? These days, I'm watching the gangster films which were very popular in the nineties - 古惑仔 (Young & Dangerous). I remembered watching them on TV when I was young, and I really LOVED the song so much then. Hearing it again today, I still love it as much. Laughs.
Anyway, yesterday I took a day off and went down to RHB Bank to run some errands. All I can say is that - A STONE OFF MY CHEST! After 2 years, finally the burden's off! Hoooray! :D :D After which, I went for the division meeting and it had been a really fruitful one. My new friends are a bunch of really nice and fun people! Teehee. Lots of things to look forward to right now! :)
But then....
Everything's really easier said then done. It's definitely not easy. I've faced them personally. All the funny clients I've met so far are seriously... funny. It's reeeeallly hard to qualify whether one's genuine or not, and most of us were 'played' by them a few times. Time, effort & cost wasted on these property shoppers. Sigh. I need exclusive!! Ohwell, lots more to earn. Jiayou jiayou!
Today, I had a really rough day at work. My friends at work would know why. Some people sure know how to pissed me off in the most subtle yet WORST way. Shan't elaborate, but I know I'll soon be joining Yeappie to be out of this place! Tomorrow we will be having a farewell dinner for him, and hopefully someday it'll be MY FAREWELL! Arghs.
CNY's nearing, and I've no CNY mood AT ALL this year. How about you? ♥
Y 我豁出去了!
Since I was at Vivo, and I had no viewings last night, so I met up with Dong for dinner. Sorry for cancelling on you the other day. Well, I was craving for steak last night, so we dined at Swensen's. Thanks for the birthday treat, dong! I guess I owed you 3 treats now. Haha. :) Labels: Everyday
Decided to go into Sentosa to explore the Resorts World Sentosa after dinner. The last time I went into Sentosa was .... 2008! That's about 2 years ago man! Haha. Anyway, with a "Sentosa Staff" around, I don't really have to look out where I'm heading to - because Dong sure knows his way around. Laughs.
We took the monorail and alighted at Imbiah Station, where the Merlion is at. The fountain (larling! the one we took many pictures at few years ago is gone!) that used to be in front of the Merlion has been demolished. The entire area has changed so much. It has transformed into Genting-like. We walked to RWS, and explored the few hotels that were already opened. Most of the boutiques were closed at 7pm, because if I'm not wrong, they'll only open till late once the Universal Studios Theme Park is open.
We explored Hard Rock Hotel Singapore first, and I love love love the open concept lobby lounge (no pictures). Haha.
Followed by Festive Hotel
From Festive Hotel, we can link to the Galleria, the Casino, and Hotel Michael. The path to the Casino is damn cool! It's called the Hall of Treasures, with some graphic effects and surround sounds. We felt like we were walking into some Museums or something. And The Galleria is where all the boutiques are located. Most of the boutiques look pretty high-end. Victoria Secret's from the States is there too! :)

^^
Ah Dong so lame lor! He asked me whether that crown's above his head, and asked me to snap this. Lolol !!
Hall of Treasures
The Casino Entrance, with about 16 Singaporean/PR gantries, 4 or 6 Overseas Guests gantries, 1 handicap gantry and 4 Exits. It really looked very grand, and the whole place felt like Genting. Laughs.
We went on to Hotel Michael after we're done exploring the Casino. There's 2 really huge and interested naked statues at the entrance. I heard it's based on some Feng Shui that they placed those two statues there.
Heehee.
When we're done exploring all the areas that are opened to Public, we went to the coach station near the Casino to take the SMRT Bus RWS8 back to Vivocity. The coach station (and taxi stand) is in the basement carpark itself, and the carpark road is damn narrow! The bus ride out was damn jerky, as the driver kept jamming the brake while making all the sharp turns. The aunties and ah ma on the bus were complaining damn loudly in cantonese they gonna vomit soon. Haha.
And so, we took a train back home at about 10ish. With all the walking and stuffs, my legs were damn 'lemon' at the end of the day. Can't wait for the Theme Park to be open! Then again, the entrance fee is damn ex, 60 plus or so. Ohwells, it was a good breather last night. Thanks Dong for the dinner once again!!! :D I hope the next time round when we meet, you'll bring your girlfriend along. :)
For more pictures, view here.
I realised I've been tweeting (see on the left) and FB-ing using my phone alot lately. Love my data plans! Twitter is such wonderful micro-blogging tool. Guess I'll be tweeting more often than I'll blog from now on. Haha. ;x
And so, I've a viewing at Woodlands this afternoon. I'm feeling really nervous right now! Wish me luck please! I have to work hard, as I really 豁出去了! :S
Y So much to do; so little time
Something made me came to my realisation that -
That was at the Ben's & Jerry's in Singapore Zoo and not Hong Kong!
Then again, why bother? :)
----
Shoutout to Tiffy darl, I got your email. So glad you're back from Canada! Will reply your email with tonnes of updates soon. Goodluck with your job hunt! Meanwhile, I'll help you look out too. Can't wait to have you hear, so much nearer, soon! ♥
GTA meeting last night. I find my team members really fun-loving. Haha, can't wait to start our big plan and earn money! Division meeting next week, so guess I'll be seeing Danny soon. I felt really excited after last night's meeting. There's so much to look forward to all of a sudden. Than again, so many to do yet so little time. Argh!
Yawn. A bottle of chicken essence every two days still didn't worked. :\
Y The basis of optimism is sheer terror.
Since the day I've decided to step into the property line (especially part time), I knew it's never going to be easy for me. I have my liabilities and fears, and I'm putting my all and more to overcome every of it. Hearing Yeappie talked about his encounters feared me even more. :( It's really tough when my phone kept ringing, and I had to talk discreetly in office. I can't make phone calls openly at work too. Every minute is an oppotunity, which I cannot afford to lose. Labels: Property
Sigh. It's okay! With every fear or hurdles I faced, I reminded myself of my ultimate goal and reason of doing this. I know I have to do it, I just got to do it. 只许成功,不许失败! :D
My family were really supportive of me doing this. When they knew I had to DIY distributing my flyers, my dad offered to chauffeur me to and fro whereas both my brother and mom helped me with the distributing. Last night, we covered 20 HDB blocks, 1 Condo and 2 streets of landed properties at Yishun area in 1.5 hour. I hate distributing at the private landed housing area, because there are quite alot of units with pet dogs. They barked whenever we approached the letterbox outside. I was scared stiff, so we moved on to HDB instead. It was good experience though. You'll never feel how it's like doing it yourself. Then again, doing this on my own is really time and energy consuming, hence I hope to be able to hire flyer distributors to do this for me in the near future. :)
Right now, my priority is to set my work right, hence sometimes I had to cancel dates with friends because of last minute viewing appointments. I hereby hope that these friends of mine would not blame me for cancelling on them. It's not that friends are not important to me, because they are important to me! But do allow me to set my career on track first before I can have more leisure time with you guys. Really sorry about it, and thanks for being ever so understanding. :)
I have a few listings on hand currently. So, goodluck to me yo!! And hopefully Yeappie can close his current deal too. :)
P/S: I love my new blog song! ♥

Hmmm.
Y My Twenty Third. :)
Another 9 more minutes and it'll be the end of my 23rd birthday. Labels: Birthday
It's my birthday, and I felt it wasn't any day special but you know, just another day. :)
Nevertheless, happy birthday to me! I had a really simple and heartwarming birthday this year. Thanks for all the celebration, gifts, cards, cakes, ang pau, sms wishes, facebook wishes, phone wishes, etc. Even people whom I didn't expect to remember my birthday, wished me too. Appreciate everything very much! I really do. :)
Two days ago, on the 14th, my larling dated me out for a simple celebration.
We had dinner at Tampopo at Taka and shopped around town. Thanks for the present, the dinner and the birthday song on the dot over the phone! Love you Larling! ♥
We had Japanese food at Tampopo.

YUM!
My gifts from larling. Hahaha. 一笔勾销, not. It's really innovative of her to add another pen, so that it won't be 一笔. Laughs.
♥
Twenty three. :l
We took polaroids, and went Kino to deco them. Haha.
:)
Larling, thanks for everything. :)
And yesterday, I had my celebration with my fabulous colleagues and friends. Teehee. I requested to have steamboat at our usual place - Novena. Initially, there was only Uncle Sai, Yeappie, Evelyn, Carine and myself present. Then, while I was busy stuffing my mouth with hotdogs (haha), a familiar voice sounded at my ear saying, "来,亲一个.". Hahahaha. That's my soulmate, Tiffi, surprising me! Apparently, only Yeappie knew about this. She actually changed her client's appointment timing just to come have dinner with us. Even Edwin also dropped by after his meeting. Really appreciate that. :)
Both Tiffi and I were so engrossed in our conversation regarding the tactics for closing deals (no matter for insurance or property), that I did not notice Yeappie walking away from our table to give cue to the waiter. And a few moments later, the strawberry ice cream cake from Swensen's was presented to me! Deja vu! It really felt like my 22nd birthday, when Yeappie presented the similar ice cream cake to me. Laughs! I swear I did not expect a cake last night, as I merely wanted a simple dinner get together with my dear friends. 我感觉很摸. Really. :)
:D
Yay! Sell more houses! :D
这蛋糕真的很硬 lor. Haha. In the end, Yeappie had to help me distribute them.
vo.ow
Yay! o.Ov
Tiffi and I had wanted to go somewhere to chill and countdown to my birthday, but in the end, we decided to head home. I was exhausted already. Haha! Thus, we all head back home pretty early last night.

Here's my birthday card from them. :D Out of the 4 messages, 3 of their wishes were related with me being short. :( Haha.
A red bag from Tiffi. :)
A camera pouch and another pen from Evelyn, Carine, Yeappie and Uncle Sai. Hahaha, no wonder when I told them what Li'e gave me the night before, their expression changed a little. Don't worry peeps, I love this all the same, and definitely will use it. :D
Thank you all for the lovely celebration. Love you all mahk mahk lahhhh! ♥ :)
And finally, my actual day. It felt like just another Saturday to me. I woke up early in the morning, and made a trip down to Peace Centre to collect my 2000 Flyers, which I sent for print 2 days ago. Head back home to rest a little, before meeting Kengey in the afternoon. :)
Did some shopping at Vivo, and caught Jackie Chan's latest movie - The Spy Next Door, in the evening. The movie was hilarious, a really typical Jackie Chan movie. It was good though. We enjoyed it. Haha! :)
:)
We were famished by the time the movie ended at 8ish. As we previously decided, we dined at The King Louis at Level 3. The place was awesome, ambience was awesome, food was awesome, staffs were awesome, service was awesome and most importantly, Kengey was awesome too. Haha. :)
Awesome decor.
After making our order, we sure know how to occupy ourselves, with our cameras. Hahaha. Beware - pictures overload!

The logo reminds me of Luo Zhi Xiang's STAGE logo. Laughs.
Pose pose pose.
Our yummy steaks! Goooood stuff!
Kengey with her Ribeye and me with my Sirloin Steak. Yummmeh.
After we're done with our meal, the waitress AND LOUIS cleared our table. Then we were chit-chatting while sipping our Lime Juice. And LOUIS presented my birthday cakes (with 3 candles) to me soon after. :O Kengey actually ordered that on her "trip to the ladies". Haha. Btw, I'm neither 3 years old nor 30 years old okay. :)
Their signature cheese cakes, which taste really gooooooood and sinful. Haha. :x
Happy birthday to me!
♥
And so, I wished for WORLD PEACE. o.oV hahaha, kidding.
^^
23. o.ov
That sword Kengey's hand is on is movable! Haha.
Kengey's present for me
Can't believe we've known each other for a decade now. Haha. :)
She gave me a very lovely jewellery box! Thanks Kengey!! :)
After the dinner, we head back home. And that was how I spent my 23rd birthday. Even my Remax manager also sent me a handwritten birthday card by post. I was impressed. I doubt my superiors from that shithole will ever do that, not even walking over to my cubicle to wish me. Haha. Anyway, thank you all! :)
That's all for my Celebration, and I'm heading back to work. I'm going to do flyer distribution tomorrow, on a Sunday! Wish me luck! Or, are there any volunteers who would love to help me? Haha. :)
Happy 23rd to me! ♥
